Sam's Cafe

This is Sam's first time to help with dinner. He decided on making squid (spaghetti noodles pushed through beef hot dogs. No turkey crap.) with bloody meat sauce and boats (buttered and toasted french bread) and bubbles (corn). It was delicious. The whole family liked it. Even Bethany, the picky one.

Perfect Pumpkins

Sherry took some pics of the girls in the field this week. I found the enormous peanut shape pumpkin out int he field. Marina had been asking for one in awhile. I call it my perfect pumpkin. The face is spotless, its taller than wide, stem is strong and it looks great. It really adds to the other pumpkins in pj's.

Buddy Bear

So, everyday I start teaching before my kids get home off the bus, which means my littlest bear raids the food closet with a vengeance. I try to have some snacks set out or provided so that he doesn't eat something like 5 granola bars. He's done that before. Anyways, on this day I left the take out box on the counter with 2 chocolate covered strawberries and two pieces of bread in it. Compliments of Mommy's lunch at Zupas, my new favorite place. I guess Sam's animal instincts kicked in, which happens when he is hungry, and he didn't have enough patience to figure out how to open the blasted container. Knowing food was inside, he took initiative and retrieved his prize in a Sammy type manner. Made me LOL when I saw it.

My two hard working boys shoveled the walk and made snow angels for me!
Yes, I said my two hard working boys, my first born suddenly got a headache when it was time to work and had to stay in, later his friend called to invite him to watch the byu football game with him and first born is suddenly feeling much better, I told him he couldn't go because he wasn't feeling well. Guess what! First born is sick again! (but is well enough to watch tv and play with his brothers) sheesh! anyone want a kid?

On 9/10/11 Sherry thought she thought she would be nice and get three watermelons to give to the men that went to the temple with the young women for baptisms. So far so good, but she thought she would just back up to the warehouse and steal them. Should have asked first as stealing is never good even for a worthy cause.

I don't know what was worse Sherry hitting a none moving trailer or the fact that it some how turned to be my fault.
