Hash

This morning Bee made home made hashbrowns out of left over baked potatoes.  Thanks Gma and Gpa Widdison for the shredder.  It worked like a champ.

Back Story:  When I was helping in Sam's class room last week I noticed his teacher was reading Charlotte's Web to them during story time.  I never mentioned it to him and he didn't bring it up at home.

Funny Story:   So, every week Sam brings home a reader to be read out loud to us through out the week.  Last week's reader was about Tigers.  The moral of the story was basically that Tigers are endangered and they are put in this situation because humans have over run their lands to live and farm and the rest of the animals have been killed by evil poachers.  At the the end of the reader, Sam stopped mid-sentence and looked at me.  He said, "If I was a tiger, I'd eat Wilbur."  Haha.  Guess Charlotte had little effect on him.

Watching TV with Sam

http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_edit?ns=1&video_id=7Gvp78F9PFU
This is one of the many reasons we love this kid so much.  He is watching the Backyardigans and the behavior in this video is subdued for Sam.  He was trying not to giggle so hard since I was standing there.  I think this is why he isn't way chubby considering the amount of garbage the kid can eat.  He can't sit still.  Ever!

Not so funny...

So, I got a new outfit with my bday moola and feeling pretty cute and good about my self, I asked my loving daughter how it looked and if she liked the pants.  She looked me over and said, "Cute.  I like 'em.  I would like them better if they were capris."  The not so funny part is that they are capris!  (Translation for Dad...Capris are short pants, about mid calf length.  I'm just short.)
